Dragon Warrior III, known in Japan as Dragon Quest III: Soshite Densetsu e... (ドラゴンクエストIII そして伝説へ…, Doragon Kuesuto Surī - Soshite Densetsu e..., Dragon Quest III: And thus into Legend...), is a role-playing video game developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix (now Square Enix). It is the third installment in the Dragon Quest series (known as Dragon Warrior in North America at the time of its original release) and the first released for the Famicom in Japan and later for the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America. The game saw an enhanced remake for the Super Nintendo in 1996 and the Game Boy Color in 2001, and a port to mobile phones and the Wii in 2009 and 2011. A version of the game for Android and iOS has been announced for release in Japan in Winter 2014. The first three Dragon Quest games are part of the same story, and Dragon Warrior III is the first game chronologically, as well as the third game that features the hero Loto. The story follows "the Hero" who is tasked with saving the world from the archfiend Baramos. Gathering a group of companions into a party, the Hero must travel the world, stopping at various towns and locations, and find their way to the Demon Lord Baramos's lair. Dragon Warrior III expanded on the open world and nonlinear gameplay of its predecessors, and introduced features such as a persistent world with its own day-night cycle, and a class-changing system which was later used in Dragon Quest VI, VII, and IX. Dragon Quest III's class-changing system shaped the gameplay of other future RPGs, especially the Final Fantasy series. It has become the top selling Dragon Quest game ever made and Enix's breakout hit with the franchise, launching the franchise's mass appeal in Japan.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, known in Japan as Dragon Quest Monsters 2 (ドラゴンクエストモンスターズ, Doragon Kuesuto Monsutāzu Tsū), is a video game published by Enix for the Game Boy Color. It is the second Dragon Warrior Monsters game for the Game Boy Color and features two different versions of the same game, Cobi's Journey (released as Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Ruka's Journey in Japan) and Tara's Adventure (released as Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru's Adventure in Japan). This was the last Game Boy Color title released in North America that was also compatible with the original Game Boy and enhanced for the Super Game Boy. Instead of traveling through portals like in the previous game, the player attains keys that lead to different worlds. The only differences in the two versions, aside from the main character, is that there are different monsters the player can find in the wild and different keys for each game. The game also introduced the new monster family, Water. Both games were remade in 2002 for the PlayStation in a compilation game called Dragon Quest Monsters 1+2 (ドラゴンクエストモンスターズ1・2 星降りの勇者と牧場の仲間たち, Doragon Kuesuto Monsutāzu Wan Tsū: Hoshi Furi no Yūsha to Bokujō no Nakamatachi, lit. "Dragon Quest Monsters 1 2: The Hero From the Stars and the Rancher Friends") and released only in Japan. The Nintendo 3DS version of both games were also remade in 2014 called Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key and released only in Japan.

Driven is a 2001 action drama film directed by Renny Harlin and starring Sylvester Stallone, who also wrote and produced. It centers on a young racing driver's effort to win the Champ Car World Series auto racing championship. Prior to production of the movie, Stallone was seen at many Formula 1 races, but he was unable to procure enough information about the category due to the secrecy with which teams protect their cars, so he decided to base the film on Champ Car.
