International Superstar Soccer is the name of a series of football video games developed by Japanese company Konami, mostly by their Osaka branch, Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka (KCEO). It should not be confused with Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo's Pro Evolution Soccer series (also known as Winning Eleven), which was originally developed for the PlayStation. Titles in the ISS series appeared on Super Nintendo, Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PC formats. The series is known as Jikkyō World Soccer in Japan.

International Superstar Soccer 2000 (officially abbreviated as ISS 2000 and known as Jikkyo J-League 1999: Perfect Striker 2 for the Nintendo 64 and as World Soccer GB 2000 for the Game Boy Color in Japan) is the second game in the Nintendo 64 Perfect Striker series and the last in Konami's Jikkyo Soccer series of N64 games developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka. For the North American and European release in 2000 the rosters were updated. It was the first and only game in the series to support the high resolution mode through an expansion pack, however this mode achieved abysmal performance, making the game virtually unplayable. ISS 2000 is also notable for being the only game in the series which included players with real names, though these players only appeared in the North American release, and no team had a 100% real roster.

James Warren "Jimmy" White MBE (born 2 May 1962) is an English professional snooker player. Nicknamed "The Whirlwind" because of his fluid, attacking style of play and popularly referred to as the "People's Champion", White is a multiple World Championship finalist, renowned for losing each of the six finals for which he qualified. White's extensive list of achievements, however, also include victory in the World Amateur Championship, the UK Championship and the Masters. He is also a former World Doubles champion with Alex Higgins, won the World Cup twice and Nations Cup once with England and was the 2010 World Seniors Champion. In 1992, he became the first left-handed player, and second overall, to record a maximum break at the World Championship.

The Justice League, also called the Justice League of America or JLA, is a fictional superhero team that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. First appearing in The Brave and the Bold #28 (February/March 1960), the Justice League originally featured Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. The team roster has been rotated throughout the years with characters such as Green Arrow, Captain Atom, Captain Marvel, Black Canary, the Atom, Hawkman, Elongated Man, Red Tornado, Firestorm, Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Cyborg, Vixen, and dozens of others. Sidekicks like Supergirl, Robin, Aquagirl, and Speedy tend to support the main hero or heroine. The team received its own comic book title in October 1960, when the first issue was published. It would continue to #261 in April 1987, which was the final issue. Throughout the years, various incarnations or subsections of the team have operated as Justice League America, Justice League Dark, Justice League Europe, Justice League International, Justice League Task Force, Justice League Elite, and Extreme Justice.

King Kong is a fictional character, a giant movie monster resembling a colossal gorilla, that has appeared in several movies since 1933. These include the groundbreaking 1933 movie, the film remakes of 1976 and 2005, as well as various sequels of the first two films. The character has become one of the world's most famous movie icons and, as such, has transcended the medium, appearing or being parodied in other works outside of films, such as a cartoon series, books, comics, various merchandise and paraphernalia, video games, theme park rides, and even a stage play. His role in the different narratives varies, ranging from a rampaging monster to a tragic antihero. The rights to the character are held by Universal Studios, with limited rights held by the estate of Merian C. Cooper, and perhaps certain rights in the public domain (see below).
